As part of my major at Iowa State University, I did an internship at Francesca's in Altoona, Iowa during summer 2020. My internship brought a lot of insight into what it would feel like to run a boutique. This internship consisted of many things, some of the items were helping customers, visual displays, shipment, steaming, sign-changing, opening & closing the store, register, and just making sure the store looks great for the customers. My final project for this internship was a visual update for the store. I redid all the displays which consist of many wall displays, table displays, and window displays. This means to change the racks to be in a certain color palette and also changing the folded displays. As well as changing out all the mannequins and window displays. Some of the displays I had the opportunity to change multiple times.
